Robert Exler

Bob assists in the operations of the practice.  He supports Michael S. Johnson, CLU, ChFC, CBEC and Joseph Hurlimann, ChFC, in the development of financial plans to help clients achieve their financial goals and objectives.  Bob’s extensive investment experience helps him bring a unique perspective to the financial planning process.  

Bob graduated from SUNY Geneseo with a degree in Business Management and has been in the Investment business since 1987. Bob’s first day of work after college was October 19,1987 which is referred to as Black Monday when the Dow Jones Industrial Average fell over 22%.

Prior to working with Lincoln, Bob spent over 28 years as a Senior Institutional Equity Trader and Portfolio Account Manager for Clover Capital Management and Federated Clover Investment Advisors.

Bob lives in West Henrietta with his wife Mary Ann and they have two adult children: Bobby and John.
